In Germany, Austria and Switzerland

However, in many areas more sustainability in fashion is a global challenge that cannot be solved by a few countries alone. Nine out of ten items of clothing traded in Europe come from low and low-wage countries. Because many companies in these countries believe that they are far from the public eye, the environment and people alike are harmed by the unsustainable practices that are widespread in the textile industry.
